イボガ・フラッディングは、魂を取り戻す体験であり、死と再生であり、自我が溶けていく体験です。私たちが知っている肉体としての自己（エゴ）の死、そしてスピリットと魂との再生／再接続です。自分の内側にある、最も深い真実を見つめます。
これは、あなたが新生児のような神経経路を持って生まれ変わり、潜在意識を配線し直す機会を得た、ということを意味します。だからこそ、神経系を整え、依存的なパターン、習慣、行動につながった誤った機能不全の適応ではなく、健全な神経接続とパターンを再構築するのを助けてくれる人がいなければ、不健康な習慣へ簡単に戻ってしまい、実際に精神病や恐怖に基づくパターンを引き起こす可能性があります。
一人ひとりの体験はそれぞれ異なります。しかし、適切な意図、環境／場所――過去の記憶を呼び起こし得る刺激が最小限で、できれば母なる地球／自然へ開かれている場所――、メディスンの神聖さへの敬意、そして新しい人生を始める準備ができているという信仰、確信、真実がなければ、その体験は良いことよりも多くの害をもたらすことがあります。

Iboga flooding is a soul-retrieval experience; an experience of death and rebirth, and of ego dissolution. It is the death of the flesh body as we know it—the ego—and a rebirth and reconnection with spirit and soul. You see the deepest inner truth within.
This means that you were essentially reborn with the neural pathways of a newborn child and given a chance to rewire the subconscious mind. If you do not have someone who can help you regulate your nervous system and reprogram healthy neural connections and patterns—instead of the faulty, dysfunctional adaptations that led to addictive patterns, habits, and behaviors—you can easily fall back into unhealthy habits, and it can actually cause psychosis or fear-based patterns.
Everyone’s experience will be unique. But without proper intention; an appropriate setting and location—one with minimal stimuli that could trigger past memories, and preferably one with open access to Mother Earth and nature; respect for the sacredness of the medicine; and the faith, belief, and truth that you are ready to start a new life, the experience can actually cause more harm than good.

Sadly, pain, dis-ease, fear, and the spirits of selfishness, wetiko, and narcissism will pass from generation to generation until someone steps up in the ancestral line and does the sacred work to heal and BECOME LOVE.
